THE IDEA
A car outside being painted and changed into a camera, turning around, playing music.

 

THE MATERIAL
colour-pigments, colour-mixtures, colour-spray cans, foils, tansparent varnish, Oil, cellotape

 

THE REALIZATION
A PassatCombi (German car by VW) outside is painted, drawed, sprayed etc. with the above mentioned stuff. The windows inside will be made impermeable for light. After this the whole internal space will be covered with white cotton. On all windows and in the roof there will be a tiny whole to let little light quantum come in. The whole is to be closed.

The art-object will stand on an iron holder which is turnable by mechanics or electrics. Inside it is possible to hear music-tapes.

 

THE EFFECT
If a user is sitting in the CAMERA OBSCURA, closing the door and opening one of the lenses (wholes) he will see, after adaptation of the eyes in about 5 minutes, all the moving or not moving pictures from outside in the internal space upside down - with distorted perspective because of the diagonals. According to the intensity of light the live-pictures outside will be inside in black-white or colours.
